N\u00e5r m\u00f8rket falder p\u00e5, samles vi om b\u00e5let og synger de velkendte danske midsommersange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi har begr\u00e6nset antal pladser, s\u00e5 meld jer til tidligt til <strong>Early Bird pris indtil 15. maj<\/strong> og spar $5 per billet. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Medbring:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Praktiske sko til gr\u00e6spl\u00e6ne, grusvej og leg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Praktisk t\u00f8j til svingende temperaturer, s\u00e5 som en varm tr\u00f8je\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evt paraply og regnt\u00f8j til at klare en byge\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mad til at grille, tilbeh\u00f8r, alkoholfri drikkevarer, k\u00f8letaske, grilltang, tallerkener, bestik, evt et t\u00e6ppe at sidde p\u00e5 udend\u00f8rs. Der er borde og sidepladser til middagen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ting til aktiviteter for b\u00f8rn og teenagers, inde og ude, som kan deles med andre (f.eks. bolde, ansigtsmaling, s\u00e6bebobler, br\u00e6tspil)\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solbriller, solhat, solcreme, myggebalsam, lommelygte eller pandelampe\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Alkohol m\u00e5 ikke medbringes, men kan k\u00f8bes i baren&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Festen er for alle danskere i hele New England-omr\u00e5det, hvad enten man har boet her i 2 uger, 2 m\u00e5neder eller i \u00e5rtier, og man beh\u00f8ver ikke v\u00e6re medlem af Danish Society of Massachusetts eller Danes Worldwide.&nbsp;Festen er for folk i alle aldre &#8211; unge, singler, familier med og uden b\u00f8rn, teenagere, pensionister, empty nesters, osv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi har udstyr til fodbold, volleyball, badminton, kongespil, frisbee, bag toss og lawn dart, men tag gerne udstyr med til andre aktiviteter. Der er ogs\u00e5 bar og billiardbord for de voksne inde i hytten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Velkomstdrinken (alkoholfri) er klar kl. 16, grillene er klar kl. 17, vi serverer dessert kl. 19, og t\u00e6nder b\u00e5let og synger kl. 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi kan lave puderum, s\u00e5 de mindste b\u00f8rn kan putte om aftenen og deres for\u00e6ldre kan blive lidt l\u00e6ngere og v\u00e6re med til b\u00e5let kl. 20, s\u00e5 tag gerne en lille madras, pude, t\u00e6ppe, osv med hvis det er relevant for jer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Festen holdes ogs\u00e5 hvis det regner, for s\u00e5 hygger vi bare indend\u00f8rs og laver mad i k\u00f8kkenet i hytten. After sunset we will gather around the bonfire and sing traditional Danish midsummer songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a limited number of seats so make sure to sign up early at an <strong>Early Bird price until May 15 <\/strong>saving $5 per ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bring:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Practical footwear for grass and gravel terrain, and games.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An extra layer of clothes for evening temperatures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Umbrella or rain jacket if a rain shower comes our way .\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food for grilling, side dishes, non-alcoholic beverages, cooler bag, grill tongs, plates, cutlery, and eventually a blanket to sit on the ground. There are tables and seatings for dinner\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring Items for outdoor and indoor activities for children and teenagers (such as balls, toys, face paint, soap bubbles, board games or other things you want to share with others)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen, mosquito spray and flashlight.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Alcohol cannot be brought to the party, but can be purchased at the bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The party is for all Danes in the New England area, whether you have lived here for 2 weeks, 2 months or for decades, and you do not have to be a member of the Danish Society of Massachusetts or Danes Worldwide.&nbsp;The party is for people of all ages &#8211; young people, singles, families with and without children, teenagers, retired folks, empty nesters, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will bring equipment for soccer, volleyball, badminton, kongespil, frisbee, bag toss and lawn darts, but feel free to bring equipment for other activities if you like. For the adults there is a bar and billiard table in the cabin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The welcome drink (non-alcoholic) is ready at 4 pm, the grills are ready at 5 pm, we will serve dessert at 7 pm and light the bonfire and sing at 8 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can make a pillow room so that the youngest children can snuggle up if they get tired, allowing their parents to stay a little longer and join the bonfire at 8 pm, so feel free to bring a small mattress, pillow, blanket, etc. if you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The party is on, rain or shine! If it rains, we will have fun indoors and cook in the kitchen at the cabin. In case of rain, feel free to bring board games and other things for indoor fun.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will meet at Musketaquid Sportsmen\u2019s Club, 250 Old Mill Road, Concord, MA 01742. Take Harrington Ave to Old Mill Road, not Caterina Heights. Let us know if you need a lift and we can arrange pick up from West Concord station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Free admission for helpers arriving early to help before and during the party!
